Okay now for the second blog post! Like I said, my travels to Buenos Aires went really smooth and I arrived to my Airbnb in the evening. I had been really excited about this Airbnb stay because I was getting my own studio apartment! I hadn't been in a studio in so long because I have mostly just been renting rooms and sharing bathrooms and kitchens with other people. This was my own full kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping space. Insane! It was so nice to not have to worry about other people and to just get to do my own things. Sunday I was pretty tired, so I just went to bed. On Monday I had to work in the morning and then I decided to do a little personal walking tour of Buenos Aires. I had several hours free because some classes had been cancelled so I went all over. It has been two weeks since I've blogged which doesn't seem like a long time, but I have been busy and wanting to update the blog! I am going to post two blogs today to separate out my time over the past two weeks just because I think that is better for my mental organization haha. SOO starting out with the end of my time in Valparaiso, traveling to Santiago, then to Mendoza in Argentina.  The rest of my time in Valparaiso was really chill and nice. I was there until Thursday, and I really just worked and hung out. I walked around my neighborhood a bit which was nice but honestly kept it simple because I wanted to. Oh, the freedom of solo traveling! I left on a bus from Valparaiso on Thursday and went to Santiago for the night. I spent the night in the same hostel that I did before I went to Valparaiso, and it was very standard. I got there before it was dark, so I went to a park right behind my hostel and just hung out. I had a really good first week in Valparaiso (known as Valpo for short)! Not as much work but still enough to be busy. I also have been spending a lot of time booking my March. I have a lot of travel and places that I am staying, and I did not have the majority of it figured out. I am still working on some last things, but I have all of my flights booked which is a good feeling.  On Wednesday I made my way to a cute cafe that is right by my Airbnb. I got an incredible piece of cake and this lemonade with mint and blueberry blended up in it. So delicious. I did some journaling, and it was overall a nice afternoon. Thursday, I walked to Parque Cultural de Valparaiso. This used to be a jail but has since been turned into a park and art/ cultural center. The park is really nice, and it was cool to walk through the old jail and see the art.
